Celebrating Merdeka with Special Children.

This year MyClassic Car celebrated Merdeka with some 120 special children from various organisation, and one of which was Parents Without Partners.

The ride in vintage car started from The Spastic Children's Association PJ to SS15 / 2E field for light breakfast and activity and lastly to Lake View Club for lunch. The event started from 10am and ended at 3pm.

At SS15 / 2E field, children enjoyed some light breakfast and sing our "Negaraku", "Sejahtera Malaysia" followed by "Jalur Gemilang". After which children gathered and seated in one big circle for an activity called Drum Circle, whereby they make music using percussion and other instruments as well. Surprisingly many of them were attentive, followed instruction and very much enjoyed playing these instruments although it was loud!
Soon after everyone gathered for a group photo session, waving our National flag high, proudly and cheering Merdeka! Merdeka! Merdeka!

The ride continued from the field to Lake View Club for lunch.
Mr. Michael Sundram, chairman for vintage care ride together with MyClassic Car Director Mr. Rukshan gave a short welcome speech to all. Present for the lunch were, YB Michelle Ng, Datin Paduka Khadijah from Community Support Network and other VIP's. Soon after, cheque donation was presented to all organisation present. Counsellor Jenn from ADUN Subang presented a cheque amounting RM3,200.00 to Parents Without Partners, received by Ms. Jaya.B. This donation is greatly appreciated and will be used to support Parents Without Partners's cause.
