We at PWP noticed that most single parents under our care, spend less time with loved ones due to work commitments, as some parents have to work two jobs to earn extra income just to put food on the table for their growing children. Their children on the other hand spend their valuable time on gadgets which are so easily accessible in this current age. From this workshop we observed, the parents and children were much happier spending valuable time together and parents expressed their wish to us, to have more of such similar workshops, also because many cannot afford to pay expensive entry fees for such workshop elsewhere.
Each parent and children were given opportunity to create any desired pattern to produce a key chain. It was a delightful sight to witness the joy in the children's smile and parents, when they complete making a keychain as a team or as an individual! We are also glad that 2 of PWP’s single parents stepped up to share their plight, their hopes and how we, at PWP have supported and helped them which was also, an encouragement to other single parents present :D

Parents Without Partners and Jumble Station had a Chinese New Year dinner at Reading Station in USJ 1 for its staffs and JS volunteers, on 12th February 2019. Present for the dinner were our Co-Founder, Mrs. Sanice Kam , Social Coordinator Ms. Jaya. B., Operation Manager Mr. Adrian Ong, and all dressed in red to suit the occasion!
Everyone enjoyed the scrumptious home cooked food such as, chicken rendang, kerabu, spaghetti, prawn sambal, mixed vegetables and many other variety of delicious food, prepared by our talented staffs. Everyone had great time of bonding with one another, as we are the Muhibah Family of Parents Without Partners and Jumble Station.
Happy Chinese New Year, from our family to yours!

Back To School 2019
Back To School 2019.
Parents Without Partners (PWP) organised a Back to School 2019 event for single parents under its care on 9th December 2018. It was indeed a true blessing to pull this event off. PWP’s management and staff put in a great effort and worked very hard to raise funds from current and new supporters. Kudos to all!
It was a privilege to hold the event in Dream Centre once again this year. Single parents and children were brought to the venue by school bus chartered by PWP. To kick start the event, a group of volunteers from Dunamis Cell Group organised an ice breaking session with children and parents.
As soon as the session ended, Co-founder Sanice Kam gave a warm welcome speech followed by a video clip of PWP’s program and the many volunteers who contributed towards these programs, throughout 2018.
We were then dazzled by Jumble Station’s Family Dancers with their dance title Wolly Bolly and invigorated by Ms. Nasha together with our very own single parents and children who brought the stage to life with their dancing skills and singing.
Soon after, Syafina from Reading Station mesmerized us with the tale of The Sick Wolf. Syafina’s hard work really paid off for despite her nerves, she kept everyone hanging by every word of her recital. We were thereafter taken through the amazing life journey of 2 of PWP’s single parents. Madam Chausri shared her online venture with PWP’s e-store and Puan Aida shared her achievement in completing the Financial Literacy Program. We were all deeply encouraged by their courage and perseverance. Ms. Jaya then presented gifts, hampers and bouquets of flower to Syafina, Madam Chausri and Puan Aida for their effort and achievement.
Co-Founders Sanice Kam and Lim Lian See then distributed cash vouchers worth RM200.00 to some 127 parents and RM150.00 to 82 school going children together with goodie bags with food items, toiletries and Gardenia sponsored bread.
The exuberant joy overflowing from the single parents and their children as they received these items made all our efforts towards this event all worthwhile.
We ended the event with a photography session and a scrumptious afternoon meal. Parents Without Partners and Jumble Station are very thankful for the overwhelming support from all parties near and far, for their effort into making Back To School 2019 a successful event.
Till we meet again. Have a great 2019 everyone!!
